3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2-3 tablespoons sugar (according to desired sweeness)
1 tablespoon flour
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, such as canola
3 tablespoons egg whites
1/4 teaspoon vanilla *can substitute almond extract
optional: 1 teaspoon chocolate chips
In a 1 1/2 cup microwave safe mug, blend cocoa, sugar, and flour together.
Add milk, oil, egg white and vanilla
Stir vigorously for 2 minutes, making sure to get all ingredients incorporated.
Bake in microwave for 2 minutes.
Check to see if cake pulls away from sides of mug, even slightly. It is probably done. Cook 10 seconds at a time until done, if 2 minutes was not enough.
