Delicious chili.  This is a recipe I found when I worked at Nook.  Because I used to download books just for recipes.

YOU NEED:

2 lbs ground beef (or whatever meat you like.  I’ve always wanted to be fancy and try lamb)
2 cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans diced tomatoes and green chilies3 small yellow onions, chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup lime juice
6 tbsp corn meal
1/4 cup chili powder
4 tsp oregano
3 tsp cumin
2 tsp salt
2 tsp rubbed sage
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp nutmeg (note: makes all the difference in the world)
1/2 tsp black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

In small bowl, combine cornmeal and all spices.  Set aside.

In skillet, brown beef with onions and garlic.  Drain.

Add beef/onion/garlic mix to crock pot, then add beans and tomatoes/chilies.  Add spice/cornmeal mix on top, then add chicken broth and lime juice.

Cover crockpot and cook on low 8 hours.  Maybe follow the instructions on the cornmeal to make delicious corn muffins to eat with chili.  I also recommend serving with shredded cheddar.
