I love this recipe because it’s super versatile.  Also fast (for a slow cooker recipe) and tasty.


2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup instant oats1 cup chopped fruit of your choice (I usually use peaches)
1/2 cup dried fruit of your choice
1/2 cup chopped nuts


Grease the slow cooker!  IMPORTANT!

Add all ingredients and whisk to mix.  Cook on low heat for 2-3 hours until oats are tender.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  I adapted this from a recipe that called for rolled oats, because I couldn’t find any at the store.  IF you want to use rolled oats, cook on low for 8-10 hours.
